Maps

Cartography has always fascinated me. From the Medieval and Renaissance period maps with ferocious monsters lurking in the oceans to the fantasy maps of Middle Earth, Earthsea or even  maps in children’s books like the Hundred Acre Wood in Winne the Pooh. They bring a sense of adventure into the unknown. My own cartography journey began when I was commissioned by the International Scott Centenary Expedition, to create a commemorative map of Captain Scott’s fateful expedition to Antarctica.
